Briana Monet is a award‑winning cinematographer known for bold visual language and emotionally resonant storytelling across narrative, documentary, and commercial work. With nearly two decades of experience, she has grown from camera assistant to camera operator, producer, and cinematographer, building an international career that spans feature and short‑form projects, branded content, and high‑end campaigns. Her collaborations include Sony, Warner Music, HBO, BET, Netflix, Fulwell, Uninterrupted, Wave Sports + Entertainment, Entertainment Weekly, People, and InStyle, as well as award‑winning films such as the Brazilian feature documentary “Maestrina da Favela,” “Take Me to Fendika,” “Wayz to Fly,” “The Day You Find Your Name,” “From tha Gods to Earth,” and “Last Picture.” Since 2013, she has also mentored emerging filmmakers through organizations like Hands On The Future, Made In Her Image, Black Girl Film School, and Urban Scholars, combining craft, access, and creative agency in her approach to visual storytelling.
